In 2004-05, worked at Kyusyu Univ. as assistant Prof. During the years, received PhD, and worked at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH(MPIE), Germany as visiting researcher. From 2015, working at Tokyo Tech.

Research Projects

  • The first time observation of martensitic reversion in conventional low alloy carbon steels


  • Invited talk entitled by “Transformation mechanism of diffusional reversion from lath martensite to austenite” in the international conference, The 5th International Symposium of Steel Science

  • “Unique microstructural control of Fe-Ni alloy via forward and reverse martensitic transformations” was commended as Young research award of Sch. of Mater. & Chem. Tech., Tokyo Tech

  • A research focusing on thermodynamics martensitic transformation was published in Scripta Mater.
