Research Highlights

  • New scission-point model and its application to the spontaneous fission of very heavy and super-heavy elements: fission fragments’ mass and total kinetic energy distributions.
  • Calculations of scission-neutron properties (angular distribution with respect to the fission axis, energy spectrum in the laboratory system and multiplicity) in the frame of an original quantum mechanical microscopic model.
